New York City Subway Map
The buttons above create a window that displays a map of the New York City subway system. Using the mouse, click on one subway station, then another. (The map is big, so use the scroll bars to get around.) When you successfully select two stations, the program will calculate the fastest route between those stations.
If you don't change anything, the program assumes you're making your trip at 8 a.m. on a weekday. To change this setting, click on the "Route Options" button, which you'll see at the top of the subway map window.
You can also use the "Select Lines" button to choose which subway lines are used by the program. This is useful if you don't like the route that the program calculated, or if you know that something is wrong with that line today and you'd like to find an alternate route.
